Training for Police on Individuals with Cognitive and Communication-Related Disabilities (H 5185, S 401)

As a matter of making police interactions for individuals with cognitive and communication-related disabilities safer and respectful of their unique needs, we supported legislation that will require training of police officers in responding to individuals with disabilities.

Ban on “Robot Dogs” (H 6071, S 409)

In the interest of proactively and preemptively restricting the use of new technology which could harm communities, we testified in favor of legislation which would have generally barred the use of “robot dogs” by law enforcement.
