We opposed a provision in this bill that could allow police officers to recoup disability benefits if they allege to suffer from PTSD from misconduct that they have themselves inflicted on a civilian.

We testified in favor of legislation which would decriminalize sex work.

We strongly supported this legislation which would make the possession of small amounts of certain controlled substances a civil violation.

We strongly supported a piece of legislation which would expand the definition of race under our state anti-discrimination laws to include “traits historically associated with race.”

As one of only two states without a process for the certification and de-certification of law enforcement officers, we strongly supported this legislation which would have instituted such oversight over these public-facing personnel.
