Although this resolution would create no binding legal language or alter the protections codified just last session by the Reproductive Privacy Act, we opposed this bill which would claim to “recognize” that the existence of a fetal heartbeat of flutter is evidence of the existence of human life.

We supported this bill which would essentially codify a Federal Election Commission decision which concluded that childcare, if the need for childcare arises as a result of campaign activities, can additionally be a permissible usage of campaign funding.

This legislation would have codified a ban on gender rating in health insurance into Rhode Island law.
