Despite strides made in recent decades, gender inequality and discrimination persists.
Today, this discrimination takes many forms: unequal pay and economic opportunity, lack of educational equity, gender differences in health insurance coverage, repeated attempts to limit abortion...to list just a few. Gender bias continues to create huge barriers to equality for women, and trans and nonbinary people.
