We'll give a quick lesson on how to communicate with your legislators, an explanation of two of our priority bills in the 2026 state legislative session, and then you'll have time to write postcards to your state legislators about the legislation.

Bills we'll be writing about:

• The RI Voting Rights Act, to protect voters' rights
• A bill to protect students’ privacy on school-loaned computers
• A bill to protect immigrants by closing a loophole between state + federal immigration law

All materials are provided — plus a dessert! — you just need to show up and be ready to write.
