Protections for Healthcare Providers (H 7577, S 2262)

We strongly supported this legislation which would ensure protections for patients and providers of reproductive and gender-affirming health care services against the imposition of criminal or civil liability for providing care to people from states banning these services.

Medical decisions deserve and necessitate being made between a patient and their physician without interference from the government. We therefore strongly supported this legislation which would ensure protections for providers of reproductive and gender-affirming health care services against the imposition of criminal or civil liability for providing care to people from states banning these services.
