Summary

Want to take action this year on issues you care about, but don’t know where to start? Join us at our Legislative Advocacy Training!

In this free, beginner-friendly training, you’ll learn how to be an effective advocate at the State House and with your state legislators. We’ll explain the legislative process in Rhode Island, talk about some bills that are being heard this session, and leave you equipped to take action.

The event will include a presentation from ACLU of RI staff and a guest legislator, with time for Q&A throughout the training.

Please note, we have about 95 spots available for the in-person session, and registration is required. If we reach our registration capacity, we will open a wait list.

The event will be live-streamed — details to be announced.
