REPORT: The School-to-Prison Pipeline in Black & White (February 2015)
This report calls on state and municipal leaders to examine policies and practices that lead to discriminatory treatment of black Rhode Islanders, from elementary school through adulthood. The report offers a brief and systematic examination of how interconnected disparities lead to a lifetime of unequal treatment and exacerbate problems of systemic racism and mass incarceration.
