Noting the positive medical impact that this drug compound found in some mushrooms particularly has on certain psychiatric conditions, and the importance of addressing our mass incarceration crisis by decriminalizing certain substances, we supported this legislation which would have decriminalized and allowed for the prescribing of psilocybin. This legislation passed the House but died in the Senate.
