Following 2020’s extraordinary voter turnout after the implementation of early in-person voting and less burdensome mail ballot procedures, we supported comprehensive legislation which codifies early voting opportunities and voting drop box procedures. The bill further eliminates the onerous requirement, which the Affiliate successfully challenged in the U.S. Supreme Court, that mail ballots be witnessed by two people or a notary. This bill was signed into law!
