We strongly opposed a number of bills which sought to limit the autonomy of transgender and gender nonconforming youth by banning critical healthcare services and restricting the ability for LGBTQ+ youth to participate in organized sports activities. These bills would only harm these minors by denying them necessary and supportive healthcare and the important social lessons of team sports, and we strongly urged rejection of these discriminatory pieces of legislation. This bill died in committee.
