We urged amendments to this bill which commendably attempts to establish a pilot program in two high schools to try to increase student attendance through the aggressive provision of supportive services. We urged that provisions be added to clarify the voluntary nature of participation in the program and the confidentiality of any information gathered through this immersive support process. This bill died in committee.
