Twilight Zone Screening & Discussion

April 8, 2024 @ 5:30 pm

Join us to screen two classic episodes of The Twilight Zone, followed by a discussion. We'll delve into the context and themes of the episodes, and how they connect to the ongoing fight to protect civil liberties today.

We'll be joined by two guest panelists, URI Prof. Renee Hobbs (left) and Tony Estrella (right) of The Gamm Theatre, to provide a media and culture perspective, alongside our Executive Director's civil liberties expertise.

This event is free and open to the public! Click here to RSVP — we appreciate RSVPs but they are not required.

This special event is a part of our 65th anniversary year. Fun fact: The first season of The Twilight Zone aired in 1959, the same year our ACLU affiliate was founded, and yet we still face the same issues highlighted in the show all these decades later.

Please sign-up for our email list to ensure you get the details closer to the event.
