We voiced concerns about a bill which would allow for municipalities to substitute newspaper notifications for important electoral issues with a post on the municipality’s website, noting that some voters do not have broadband internet access and that the legislation should instead allow for a supplemental notice to newspaper notifications through website posting rather than a full substitution. This bill died in committee.
