Summary

2025 marks the 66th anniversary of the ACLU of Rhode Island. For more than six decades, we have worked to ensure that “We the People” means all of us. This year’s Annual Meeting celebrates not only our history, but also the power of communities rising together to defend freedom, justice, and equality.

We invite you to join us for the 2025 ACLU Foundation of Rhode Island Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at The Guild in Pawtucket. Connect with fellow advocates, community members, and supporters as we reflect on the past year, honor Rhode Islanders who have stood strong for civil liberties, and look ahead to the challenges before us.

  • A visual storytelling exhibit with work by photographer James Hazelwood, highlighting how our core program areas—litigation, legislation, and public education—work together to protect rights and amplify community voices.
  • We’ll gather over food and conversation, creating space to celebrate civil liberties and community.
