For the second year in a row, the Senate took no action on an invasive House bill allowing police agencies to give lie detector tests to job applicants. Rhode Island has banned polygraph tests in employment for over 40 years, and the ACLU emphasized that their inaccuracy and intrusiveness are as troubling now as they were then.
