Morelli v. RIPTA

This class action lawsuit was filed against RIPTA and UHC over an August 2021 data breach at RIPTA that compromised the Social Security numbers and other personal and health care information of thousands of individuals, including many with no connection to RIPTA.

This is a First Amendment lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Rhode Island in response to a Pawtucket ordinance related to signage on personal property.

Schultz v. Merry Maids

This lawsuit was filed on behalf of an employee at a professional cleaning service who was newly hired and then terminated after the service learned that she was pregnant.

Stern v. Lombardi

This is an open records lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Rhode Island in response to the City of Providence's refusal to release any documents related to its decision last year to bar a rapper from performing at a local night club.
