LETTER Re: DMV Vehicle Registration Extension

This letter was sent to the RI Division of Motor Vehicles Administrator, requesting confirmation that municipal police departments and State Police barracks have all been informed of the registration extension for all vehicles that were set to expire on July 31, 2025. The letter comes after the DMV had a technical error that caused registration renewal reminders to be delayed.

The Administrator responded confirming that notice of this extension were sent to "Colonel Weaver of the Rl State Police and to all municipal Police Chiefs through Sidney Wordell, Executive Director of the Rhode lsland Police Chiefs' Association, advising them to share with their officers..."
