We opposed legislation which would establish a "parking mobility app program," which would allow individuals to submit photos of vehicles they believe are improperly parked in accessible parking spaces. We argued that while the critical importance of protecting accessible parking is quintessential, this program encourages surveillance and citizens to act as untrained, unaccountable enforcers of the law.
