Public Education

Informing the public about civil liberties issues represents an important aspect of the Affiliate's work. As part of our public education program, we offer two informative brochures, pictured below: "Your Rights and the Police" (available in several languages) and "Your Rights to Workplace Privacy in Rhode Island."

Cable Access TV Show

The ACLU of Rhode Island produces a cable access TV show, "Rights of a Free People," which airs on Statewide Interconnect Channel A (Channel 13 in most areas) Tuesdays at 10PM and Fridays at 3:30PM. In Providence, North Providence and Kent County, the show can also be seen Wednesdays at 9PM on Channel 18. Click here if you are interested in working on the show as a volunteer.
