As an organization that deeply values freedom of speech, our organization is very sympathetic to the goal of this bill, which creates a broad statutory right to free speech and the free exercise of religion for all employees in the private sector. As such, we supported this bill which would protect employees from being disciplined if they refused to attend a employer-sponsored meeting or to listen or view an employer's communications with opinions, on religious or political matters that are unrelated to the company's business activities.
