Statute of Limitations Removal for Child Abuse (H 7235, S 2648)

Though we appreciate the intentions behind this legislation, which would  eliminate the statute of limitations for filing civil suits alleging sexual abuse, we oppose the bill, noting that the complete abandonment of any statute of limitations goes too far and establishes a dangerous precedent for the due process rights of civil defendants.
