The ACLU of Rhode Island strongly supports the Rhode Island Senate rules this session which includes an amendment permitting written testimony to be published online. The Rhode Island House of Representatives adopted this policy a few years ago and it has tremendously improved transparency and the public's right to know. With this amendment, we are excited about greater transparency in the committee process.
