Public Education
When Rhode Islanders know their rights they are able to defend their civil liberties.
When they are informed about civil liberties issues they can take action to protect others.
Educating the public is an important aspect of the Affiliate's work. RI ACLU does this through:
- Reports — In-depth analysis of various issues.
- Newsletters — PDFs of "Rhode Island Civil Liberties," the Affiliate's bi-monthly publication.
Pamphlets — Informative brochures to educate the public on their rights.- Cable Access TV Show — "Rights of a Free People," the Affiliate's montly show on public acess television.
- Speakers — Find out how to request a speaker for your event.
