At the Courthouse

While the Rhode Island ACLU has a strong legislative and public education program, the organization is most widely known for its litigative activities. The image of the volunteer ACLU lawyer rushing into court to vindicate an important civil right is, not without reason, firmly entrenched in the public mind. Our 2003 case docket confirms and commemorates that image.
